Role/Responsibilities Working for Gold Medal you will be expected to provide expert knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000/2005 database design, development, delivery and maintenance. You day-to-day duties will involve maintaining and enhancing current SQL Server installations, and providing Performance monitoring, optimisation and tuning. Your responsibilities will include: * Provision of documented hardware and software analysis, design, development, delivery, maintenance and upgrade of current and future SQL Server infrastructure. * Hardware and Capacity planning * Data Integrity, backups and recovery * Pro-active SQL Server monitoring, performance tuning, problem identification and solutions.
