Network Support Engineer - Cheshire £27000 - £35000 per annum + Excellent Package + Training Network Support Engineer - Cheshire: Job Details Network Support Engineer x2 - LAN/ WAN / Data / Firewall x - CCNA - required for cutting edge IT Blue Chip who will offer a challenging, varied & stable career. You will be responsible for the day to day resolution of incidents, problems & complex changes within my clients network estate. Specifically you will be responsible for high priority incident diagnosis, repair, recovery monitoring & confirmation of service restorations, you will manage the network problem management queue & will provide problem management root cause analysis as well as identifying options for permanent fixes. This is a varied role where you will be required to use various monitoring tools such as HP Openview, Ciscoworks, Checkpoint Provider 1 etc to provide the back office 2nd & 3rd line support for your area of expertise. The successful candidate will ideally be CCNA accredited (or equivelent) & will have Networking experience gained working within a large-scale, Blue Chip organisation as experience of live operational enterprise network environments is preferred for this role. Solid Incident & Problem Management experience is required & applicants will ideally have some knowledge/experience working within ITIL processes. Experience of some/all of the following is required for this role: Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, Lucent &/or Alcatel.
