Organisation Description
To control the administration and logistics at the base under the framework outlined in Director?s rules. Within this role you will be responsible for managing and providing all elements of base administration and logistics, support to the Field Service Manager and supervision of the base administrator
Job DescriptionTo support the base by ensuring all areas of administration are dealt with promptly and effectively, ensuring that all deadlines are strictly adhered to.To monitor a database of all monitoring equipment held on charge, and ensure that this is managed on a daily basis producing relevant reports for the Field Service Manager.To have in place clear procedures for managing the vehicle fleet and ensure that all vehicles are audited at least once per month. This should involve formal pre-planned audits and also supervisors snap audits.To keep accurate driver/vehicle records, which should include servicing schedules and copies of driver’s licence which should be inspected regularly.Ensure that daily and weekly returns are submitted promptly to the area office.Rigorously enforce Directors Rules on Health & Safety issues in the work place.To deputise for the Field Service Manager as required and to adopt responsibility for the day to day operational requirements of the base.
Person Specification
You will have a supervisory/management background, ideally from a logistics environment. You will have excellent experience of following procedures and policies and will be highly organised and lead by example.Strong IT skills are required as well as a full driving licence.
